• Question: Why is cancer so common?

      This is a great question and it could be a complicated answer! I think cancer is common for a number of reasons – we can detect cancer better and earlier so whereas in the old days cancers might go undiagnosed they can not be spotted and treated early. Also, our lifestyles are resulting in more cancer – lots of sunbathing, eating poorly, smoking and drinking contribute to mutating DNA and resulting in cancer.
